R and J Services were commissioned together with our architect to design, plan and build this front and side extension on this semi-detached property in Pinner, Middlesex.
The internal design was to consist of a front bedroom with ensuite bathroom inclusive of shower, WC and sink. The rear portion was to be an extension of the existing kitchen transforming it from a typical galley kitchen into a much bigger, family friendly space.
Project completion time 13 weeks.

How the property looked before work began. Semi-detached property with garage attached running alongside the property.

Existing garage was demolished. Footings were dug out and foundation bricks laid. Along with a DPC (Damp proof course) layer.

Structure was built of a breeze block and brick design. Design is a complete frontage and side extension. Existing front door was removed creating a much more open atrium space.

Finished construction. Compromising of 1 full double glazed door and 2 double glazed windows 1 front aspect and 1 rear aspect. 2 dome windows were also installed in the roof. 1 in the ensuite bathroom and 1 in the kitchen.

Rear aspect view of extension. Conservatory was pre-existing therefore extension finishes at the same point as the house. The roof is of a sloping nature to create a much more airy atmosphere and space.

Interior of kitchen. Range cooker with granite splashback and integrated appliances. Tiles were black ceramic with metallic grey grout.

Oak cabinets fitted with granite gold speckled worktops. Concealed utility area with washing machine and cupboard. Wall mounted television and domed roof window.

Ensuite bathroom compromising of shower, WC and sink with storage cabinet.

Bathroom is fully tiled both walls and floor and is fitted with a domed roof window.

Domed roof window with an ability to be opened and closed using a winding mechanism. Spot lighting was fitted throughout whole extension.
